The Shadow

0n that cold damp February day I felt the ‘atmosphere’ as soon as my wife and I entered the restaurant in Dublin’s City Centre. I felt someone’s sadness, desolation and regret. The restaurant was empty except for two other couples and a waitress. We took our seats which were situated opposite a stairway leading down to a lower ground floor that I later found out contained the bathroom area of the restaurant. As we waited to be served, I looked around the restaurant. It felt cold and it looked bleak. It was then that I saw the shadow hovering at the top of the stair. There was no connection between the shadow and the floor or any other part of the building. The shadow was dark grey in colour and appeared to be the shape and size of a fully grown adult with a very distinctive male aura. I felt pain, loss and deprivation emanating from the shadow, and then it was gone.
From a glance around the restaurant it would seem that none of those present observed anything out of the ordinary. I must have appeared shocked or confused to my wife because she asked me what was wrong. I told her that I had seen a dark shadow at the top of the stairs. I left my seat and went downstairs to the bathroom. The coldness that I felt down there was not of this world but the awareness of sadness, loss, desolation and regret was beginning to dissipate.
I asked the Spirit of Light and the Angels of Mercy to have mercy on the Shadow.
The coldness lifted. The temperature rose. I don’t know why the Shadow appeared to me that cold damp February day, but maybe he needed prayers to raise his vibration and allow him to reach the light.
